Construction begins!

Work commences at Fox Yard Studio!

After a rather peculiar year and a half, we’re so happy to finally get the ball rolling again with renovations! As many of you have already seen, the first floor of the studio is where we display local artist’s creations. And it’s always been the plan to use the space upstairs to hold workshops and social events, with all that beautiful light pouring in from the large bay windows. But there was work to be done! From thread bare green carpets to luminous strip lighting, there were some changes we wanted to do before we welcomed the public into the space. And thanks to the Back to Business grant, this was made possible!

So now we are packing up the studio and moving out for the month of September so the builders can come in and rip all the carpet up, resurrect the lovely floorboards underneath as well as change all of the lighting and a few more other surprises!
