As a part of our Winter Art Trail, we’d like to introduce you to the artists that produced the wonderful artwork for the trail. In the Artist Spotlight today, we have Elene Chinchaladze!

Introducing Elene

Elene Chinchaladze is a self-taught artist from Tbilisi, Georgia. She received a bachelors degree in Architecture in her hometown. In 2016 she came to the UK to continue her education and gained a masters degree in Architecture from the University of Lincoln. It has been two years since she became an architectural assistant at Modece Architects and a resident of Stowmarket.

Painting has always been part of her life, but she started actively producing art only after moving to Stowmarket. She thinks she has not yet found her style and loves to experiment with different media and techniques. For her art is a journey, an adventure that she enjoys.

'' I do not want to get too comfortable with one style or technique I want to explore, challenge myself, as a lot of space remains for improvement and future work.''

To see Elene’s contribution to Stowmarket’s Winter Art Trail, all the artwork on the trail will be displayed at the new arts bar next door, Pallet.
