A one-day course for those new to glasswork.

The day will include:

• Practice cutting glass, before selecting glass for your chosen design.

• How to use a glass grinder.

• Wrapping individual pieces with copper foil.

• How to flux and solder the pieces together.

Patterns with 10-16 pieces will be provided or you can bring your own

design. Finished panels will measure approximately 14cm x 18cm.

All glass, tools and equipment will be provided.

There are limited spaces to allow for individual support.

We recommend you wear old clothes or bring an apron.

Please bring a packed lunch.

The course will involve standing for much of the day so please wear

comfortable, closed toed shoes/ boots.

Due to lead content in the solder this workshop is not suitable for those

who are breast feeding or pregnant.
